Bookworm Tewkesbury

Tewkesbury's Independent Charitable Bookshop

Bookworm is Tewkesbury's independent used-book shop. We stock an excellent and varied range of second hand books including contemporary fiction, foreign-language reference, political and historical biography, travel and local interest books and maps, sheet music, stamps and post-cards.

Open on Sundays from 11am till 3pm, other days from 10am till 4pm

Volunteer With Us!

Bookworm is powered by volunteers! It's a great place to work and, if you have as little as three hours a week to spare, you could keep this gem of a bookshop functioning smoothly. All of us love books and reading so we enjoy talking to customers about the books they donate and the books they buy. To find out more about working in Bookworm, visit our Volunteer page.

Donations

Bookworm runs on your donations and we can often help you too by coming to collect from your home. Phone us to find out if we can help or visit our Donate page to find out more.

Now Selling Online Via AbeBooks

During Lockdown we have expanded our market even further by selling online via AbeBooks. Many specialist books sell well in the shop (and we always need more donations of these), and others have a large appeal abroad and so we are using Abebooks to reach a wider audience and regularly sell to America, Europe and China.

The books we sell online are not on display in the shop - why not browse our more unusual books from the comfort of home?
